A luxury travel site that turns inspiration into booked journeys

WildChina is an award-winning, sustainable travel company offering tailor-made tours across China. The website needed to better showcase the breadth of its trips and reinforce its position as a pioneer in China travel.

The problem archetype

WildChina serves many traveler types, from private luxury travelers to educational groups. The challenge was to organize trip details, travel advice, and booking pathways so visitors could find the right journey without friction — and then take the next step. The site also had to serve both inspirational browsing and practical planning modes without splitting the journey.

Our execution

We took a photo-driven approach, using magnificent destination photography to create immediate emotional impact. We then structured the information architecture around how travelers actually plan, and built an easy-to-use journey finder to match users with the right trip.

The outcome

A redesigned website that is both appealing and informative. Users can now find and explore their ideal journey with far less effort, moving smoothly from inspiration to inquiry.
